Amazing 91-year-old George Burley is the world’s oldest HIP-HOP dancer.

The energetic pensioner shuns slow-paced exercise lessons at his old
people’s home, in favour of joining a modern dance class.
The groovy great granddad refuses to grow up and now his body-popping
attitude has helped him capture the heart of woman 33 years younger
than him.
Dashing Yorkshireman George, who emigrated to Mt Clear, Australia, 25
years ago, married German teacher Klaudia Hochhuth, 58, last week.
She was swept off her feet by the superfly pensioner in just six
months after teaching him German so he could brush up on the language
when his son moved to Switzerland. Klaudia’s own father is 10 years
younger than her new husband.
The former RAF gunner now keeps in shape at his local Moves and
Grooves class where he gets down with it twice a week.
After being given a choice between ballet and tap dancing, full-of-
life George instead chose Hip Hop and is now the only bloke in a class
of six.
“The exercise sessions at the old folks home, you’d sit down to do
it,” he said. “I like this a lot better.”
But despite his efforts to master moves like the ’snake’, George is
more Bing than bling – he couldn’t tell 50 Cent from five shillings.
“I’m still into Crosby and Fred Astaire,” he confessed.
Next month George will have to put head-spins on hold. The couple plan
to honeymoon in Switzerland to see George’s son before detouring to
Germany to see Klaudia’s family.
“My father’s 81 – 10 years younger than George. He thinks I’m crazy!”
said Klaudia, 58.
Before coming to Australia 25 years ago, George worked with the RAF,
and in war years was a rear gunner.
When he flew in the Berlin airlift, Klaudia was not yet a twinkle in
her dad’s eye. But she simply doesn’t care about the age difference.
“George is gorgeous,” she said.
Zesty George has five great-grandchildren, four grandchildren, and is
a dad-of-three.
